FLO: Feel, let go, open up A 5-Week Series Exploring Emotions Through Movement Emotions are energy in motion! F.L.O. is a creative movement class designed to help children connect with their emotions through motion, breath, and play. Kids will learn to: Feel their emotions in their bodies Let Go and allow their bodies to move the feelings through them Open Up to the information emotions bring and learn from them Through creative games, guided movement exercises, and group play, children will build emotional awareness, self-regulation skills, and confidence in expressing themselves. Each class includes: ✔ Movement Exploration – Learning how different emotions feel and move in the body ✔ Breathwork & Mindfulness – Using breath to calm, energize, and shift emotions ✔ Interactive Games & Play – Engaging activities that help kids express and process emotions ✔ Music & Dance – Exploring how rhythm, sound, and movement influence our feelings ✔ Reflection & Discussion – Helping children make connections between movement and their everyday experiences Class Breakdown Week 1: How the Body Moves – Fluid vs. rigid movement, breath awareness, and full-body expression Week 2: Happy & Sad – Exploring joy and sadness through movement, transformation games Week 3: Calm & Mad – Expressing power vs. anger, shifting emotions through motion Week 4: Breath & Scared – Understanding fear in the body and using breath to create calm Week 5: Music, Emotions & Movement – Connecting emotions with music, expressive movement games, and reflection This class is perfect for kids who love to move, dance, and play while learning more about themselves and their emotions.
